A Love That Endures
Twenty-three-year-old James Carter is living a good life. He has his parents, Charles and Michelle, and his younger siblings, who all adore him. He’s engaged to Mary Henderson, a stunning young woman who wants to travel the world with him. Everything is going exactly as he dreamed.
That is, until his life is changed forever by the haunting squeal of car tires.
Left alone with four younger siblings looking to him for protection, James is at a loss. He turns to his faith, something he had neglected in his teen years, and learns to seek God for wisdom. His siblings will to go foster care if he doesn’t do something, and he clearly feels the Lord leading him to leave his plans and raise them. But Mary opposes his calling and wants him to leave his siblings to the foster system. In the midst of his grief, James is faced with the toughest decision he’s ever made: will he abandon his dreams and take care of his siblings, or will he leave them and go with the woman he loves?
Throughout hardships and trials, James—and his siblings—learn the true values of family, faith, and perseverance. No matter how difficult the trials may seem, no matter how steep the path, the Carter siblings learn that true love always endures.
About the Author
Hi, I’m Katelynn Webb, a seventeen-year-old author from Nashville, Tennessee. I write Christian fiction novels for everyone to enjoy, whether you’re a teen looking for new books or an adult searching for literature for yourself or your kids. I know it can be hard to find clean, enjoyable fiction that aligns with Christian values, and I want to fix that. Currently, I’m about to release my new series, Attributes of Love. This seven-book series follows the Carter family in 1970s Tennessee as they experience the hardships life can bring–and the incredible love of God.
So, if you’re looking for books about a perfect family in a carefree world, don’t look here. You won’t find sunshine and roses on every page. Just like us, the Carter siblings have their share of struggles, too. But you as the reader, along with the siblings, will see God’s hand in every step of their journey. This part of the story isn’t fiction, for I’ve seen God’s faithfulness time after time in my own life. I hope as you read my books you will be not only entertained, but that you would look back over your life and remember God’s faithfulness, even in the middle of hardships.
